Ethical Channel

Our Commitment

At GCS Activities of Construction and Services, S.A., and our group of companies (GCS), we position ourselves as one of the leading actors in all those sectors in which we operate, committing ourselves to the economic and social progress of the countries where we have presence. Throughout our history, we have maintained a corporate commitment to various stakeholders, based on ethical principles that are part of our corporate culture and go beyond strict compliance with the Law.

Our Code of Conduct reflects the essential values of the GCS. Therefore, all the companies and divisions within the Group shall adopt decisions and act in alignment with this framework. However, since we operate in different jurisdictions, stricter local regulations will take precedence over the provisions of the Code of Conduct. However, we will not apply to local customs when they contravene them.

Likewise, all members of the organization, as well as external third parties worldwide, are encouraged to use the Ethics Channel to report information related to possible violations of the commitments and basic principles established in our Human Rights Policy.

The actions of the GCS are based on the values of Integrity, Excellence, Trust, Sustainability, and Profitability. These values ensure the generation of shared value for all stakeholders, as well as sustainable and profitable growth for our shareholders. We will adhere to conduct aligned with our values, deeply convinced of the benefits this brings to both the GCS and society. This will be carried out in such a way that fulfilling these values naturally becomes a part of our culture.

The GCS's Ethics Channel is available to any person who intends to report a possible infringment in a professional context with the GCS, as well as to all the Group's stakeholders and interested parties.

The GCS Ethics Channel allows reports to be made anonymously. Through the Ethics Channel's digital platform, the informant can stay in contact with the organization while preserving their identity and tracking their case. However, GCS encourages informants to identify themselves by providing their name, role, and contact details when making a report. This way, the staff in charge of processing the report will be able to contact the whistleblower to follow-up if necessary. At the same time, GCS believes that this is the best way to demonstrate its non-retaliation policy for reports made in good faith.

All members of the organization and stakeholders who have knowledge or reasonable suspicion about any non-compliance are encouraged to report it through the various communication channels, at the informant's discretion, described in the Policy Operations of the GCS Ethics Channel. Doing so is a demonstration of commitment and respect for our values. Additionally, you are informed of the existence of external reporting channels enabled by competent authorities, such as the spanish Independent Authority for Whistleblower Protection, A.A.I.

The information you provide will be managed completely confidentially and anonymously ,if you so wish. We are committed to ensuring that your comments will be considered.
